Position: Bouncy castle assistant
Date of employment: 02/2011- present
Brief description of duties and responsibilities: I speak to customers on the telephone and in
person on a regular basis. It is my responsibility to deliver and set up bouncy castles for
customers. I am also responsible for the collection of payment and collection of castle at the
end of an event.

Brief description of duties and responsibilities: Throughout my time with Ashbourne
Business Partnership i was given a number of responsibilities including, creating QR codes
for internet tagging places of interest, data input on excel, answering telephones, attending
meetings and giving personal opinions on matters affecting young people in Ashbourne town.
Personal Interests
I am a keen sailor and have raced dinghies at a national level. Recently i also crewed a 70ft
yacht across the channel as part of the Rona Sailing Project (a charity set up to help young
people build skills, teamwork and leadership through the use of sailing) after which I was
nominated by the skipper to join the project and receive training to become a watch leader
(someone with a level of responsibility for the crews safety and welfare). I am also a
qualified RYA powerboat driver. I have been playing guitar for 10 years and enjoy playing at
social occasions.

What I would like to achieve during my work experience:
Out of all my A levels English Language is my favourite, within this i am particularly
interested in creative writing, consequently I would be grateful for the opportunity to spend
time expanding my skills and knowledge in these areas. I am also keen to gain a greater
understanding of lloyds registers business model and also the role of Communications within
the business as I feel that this would build not only upon my personal interests but help me
particularly with my business and economics A levels. However I also feel experiencing a
work setting would help me decide what sort of career path to embark on.
