Subnetting, Peer-to-peer client server concepts, and also worked on the Design of LAN, DNS/ DHCP/ NAT.
PROJECT WORK
Mitigating DDOS attack using SDN January 2016 – May 2016
To mitigate DDOS attack in a virtual machine using SDN controller.
The project was done using S-flowrt, mininet and pyretic SDN controller.
RIP VS OSPF Convergence Time Analysis August 2015 – December 2015
To create a network topology and configure RIP on the routers and analyze the path of a packet in the network and alter it by shutting down an
interface and observe the convergence time
In the same topology the above process is repeated after configuring OSPF on the routers.
Assigning IP address in a BGP based Enterprise Network August 2016- December 2016
In Enterprise Networks, IP addresses are usually assigned to the devices from the pool available with the ISP.
The project demonstrates the problems involved in using the above method in the presence of multiple ISP’s, and how to avoid them.
Desktop Chat Application | Socket Programming using C++ August 2015 – December 2015
Developed a desktop based chat application to send and receive messages between the server and the client application using socket
programming. Involves the usage of TCP and UDP protocols for detecting other users and sending messages.
RESEARCH PUBLICATION
Face detection and recognition using skin color | International Paper Publication | INSPEC Accession Number: 15412432 March 2015
Presented the paper at the 3rd
International Conference on signal Processing, Communication and Networking. This paper proposes a method to
enhance the performance of face detection and recognition systems.
The detection part is enhanced using skin color model and Adaboost Algorithm. The recognition part is enhanced by the combined use of Gabor
filter, PCA and K-NN.
CERTIFICATIONS AND AWARDS
CCNA Routing and Switching (200-120) | Cisco Networking academy January 2016
