2. Introduction
• Have you ever wondered what it
would be like to go to one of the
clearest beaches on Earth, or to the
beautiful city of Rome?
3. Task
• You and a partner are going to create a
PowerPoint presentation on a country of your
choice (within the boundaries I give you).
• The purpose of this project is for you to
discover and research a country that you do
not know much about and see what you can
learn about the country’s culture and history.
4. Process
• First you will choose any country in the world, excluding the
U.S., China, Japan, and England.
• Then you are to research the geography of the country. Make sure that you
include a map of a picture of the country, mountainous areas, major river
systems, and current or environmental issues.
• Then research the history. Make sure to include major events in history, past
influences on other regions, and any boundary changes that may have
occurred. Also be sure to include at least one map that shows a boundary
change through history.
• Lastly research the culture. Make sure to include the ethnic groups, the
population patterns, religions, traditions, and any other unique cultural
features.
• Your first slide should have the name of the country, your teammates’
names, class period, and the due date.
• You must put your research in this order in your PowerPoint.
• You must include at least 4 pictures of anything that has to do with your
country (not including Clipart).
• You must site your resources and you must use the links that I provide for you.
