I used the rectangle tool to add a purple rectangle to the top strip of my magazine. I changed the colour of the rectangle to purple using the rectangle tool. I moved the arrow to change the gradient of the purple rectangle's colour to match the annotated flat plan that I drew.

1. I added a coloured rectangle to make the top strip to my magazine. In order to this I used the rectangle tool and changed the colour to purple.

2. Using this tool, I was able to change the colour to purple. I moved the arrow to change the gradient of colour in order to make it look efficient. This was to also match the annotated flat plan that I drew.
