The agenda for the day’s workshop From Me to We- Agenda Goals 1 - Acceptance of oneself-Have students discover unique characteristics about oneself and that it is ok for us to be different as a learner, the way we look and in the way we socially interact with others. Introduction (library)- the team, nametags, agenda Ice breaker (mini gym or library)- “Shake”- Getting to know names. “ Quality World” ( library, mini-gym, classrooms)- Collage activity discovering about oneself and how everyone has a unique quality world. Recess break, snacks in the library after recess Multiple intelligences (library)- activities that emphasize that we have a multiple ways of learning and that some people may have challenges learning one way but be very talented in another way. National Heroes, International Heroes Everyday Heroes: what are their characteristics? What heroic acts can we perform everyday in our school? What gets in the way of us being an everyday Hero?
