1. Natural Forces Reflection
WildWeather Experiments:
My favorite weather experiment was Air Pressure Experiment because
it is very exciting to observe what happened to the egg.
Some of the important things I learned about weather were
thatwater evaporation becomes invisible water vapor and when it gets
cooler it condenses into water droplets. The water droplets grab onto
dust, smoke or air pollution and change into clouds. If I did more
experiments, I would like to know about why the earth has gravity.
Scientific Report Writing:
I wrote scientific reports about air pressure, the water cycle, static
electricity and length. The easiest reportfor me to write isabout the
water cycle because I did 2 worksheetsbefore I wrote the scientific
report. The hardest reportfor me to write isairpressure because it
was hard to write the discussion after the experiment because I still
didn’t know why it happened. While writing these reports, I became
better at understanding science and writing scientific reports.
Research:
The natural disaster I researched wasTsunamis.
During my research, I found it easy to find things about tsunamis in
books.I found it difficult to remember my script.I worked especially
hard at writing thescript and finding backgrounds. Compared with my
last research task, I found this task harder because we had a
longscript. The best sources of information were books and
websites. If I wrote my speech again, I would try to find more
backgrounds to make the documentary more interesting to watch.
Delivering My Speech:
I am proud of my documentary because I remembered all my script.I
worked especially hard at looking at the camera and speaking
loudly.Next time I deliver a speech I will try to look camera and
speak loudly again.
What else?
During this natural forces unit I especially enjoyed the experiments.
After this unit, I will continue to write scientific reports to get even
better at explaining science ideas.
