1. How I Learn
Final Reflection
My learning profile:
My strength is visual- spatial intelligence because I decided that my strength
was visual-spatial because I thought if I was good at drawing and sketching
then I should choose visual- spatial.
My weakness is naturalist because I wasn’t good with plants and insects and
my knowledge of plants wasn’t very good so I decided to choose naturalist.
I know that I can improve as a learner by researching things on the computer
and taking notes about them and writing a report about them.
My Strength:
The strategies that worked best were going to the sun to see their shadows
and do a sketch of them. The strategies that didn’t work were searching on the
computer how to draw shadows and researching for school chairs.
Overall, I believe I improved in this area. I know this because I saw how I tried
to draw shadows and tried to sketch the chair. Next time, I might change my
plan by seeing other things and then combine them to make something and I
could use my own creativity to think of other things to draw.
My Weakness:
The strategies that worked best were researching the insect on the computer
and what habitat it is in and how it lives and how is it and research what it
eats. The strategies that didn’t work “Where does it need protection?”
Overall, I believe I improved in this area. I know this because I had done a
pre- test this Monday and when I was finished with my report and when I
combined those two together I had realized that I had learned a lot about
insects.Next time, I might change my plan by going to the place that I last saw
that insect and I could try to see pictures of the insect on the computer.
Final Thoughts:
The most interesting thing I learned during this unit was learning the 8
intelligences and learning new words about “ how we learn”. The most
interesting thing I learned about myself was doing things by myself and
solving things by myself is possible. After this unit, I might continue to tell
other people all around the world about what we learned and continue to learn
more important facts and things.
