1. Length Investigation
Aim:
To investigate the relationship between finger
length and arm length.
Hypothesis:
I predict that finger length is shorter than arm
length.
Materials:
Ruler
measuring tape
pencil
recycledPaper
20 people
clipboard
Method:
1.Gather 20 people.
2.Ask someone to stretch out theirarms and
fingers.
3.Measure their arm and each finger with a
tape measure.
4.Record the measurements in a table.
5.Add up total fingers .
6. Repeat the steps again on someone else,
until you have measured 20 people.
2. Results:

Conclusion: My hypothesis was correct. The arm is
longer than the total finger. The average arm length
was 27cm longer than total finger length.
Discussion:
We had difficulties finding exact measurements
because the people were moving a bit and the nails
and were hard to start at. It also was quite fun to
learn using measuring tapes, measure data and
recording it and then type up a report.
