The web and social media are great sources of information to provide us with business intelligence, and effective technology scouting or monitoring. This presentation outlines my vision of what business and technology intelligence is for me, how I do it every day, and the tools I used to know most of what is said in various industries.

This is the english translation of a presentation given to students of a colleague for his course "Management of Digital Information" at the University of Sherbrooke.

With such a tool, information gathering becomes as simple as checking for new messages. DISSEMINATION AND SHARING OF INFORMATION Although the collection of information lets you, among other things, improve your knowledge and generate new ideas, it should not be limited only to these aspects. The information gains value by its use, not just by its storage. Like with the collection or analysis of information phases, the dissemination of it also requires to be thought out, and the results need to be presented. USER EXPERIENCE DESIGNER
