2. Throughout the process, I have
learnt many things about the
genre ‘action adventure’.
From different camera shots
used, to the variation in plots.
3. Quick camera shots
From the research we gathered at the
beginning of this project, existing
films included sequences of fast
camera shots. We included these in
our video (from 1:20 – 1:32).
4. Aspect of Danger
• Throughout all action adventure films
they include danger in some way.
Examples would be a chase scene or
a villain. In our video, the phone call
(0:10) and the mysterious man at the
end (1:40) add a hint of danger as it is
unknown.
5. Sidekicks
In most action adventure films, there is
some form of a sidekick. We continued
this theme as we shown two female
assistants. This also fits in with the
stereotype of women in action
adventure films.
