2. Audience Analysis
7 male and 11 female high school senior
English Honors class with appropriate
research skills for this project.
3. Objective
My students will read JFK Assassination
Logic and in turn develop their side on the
theories of who killed JFK and form teams
to debate their theory with the opposing
ones with the use of a PowerPoint or any
other presentation tool full of information
they gathered through Internet and book
research to prove their points within two
weeks of assignment with 100% accuracy.
4. Day by Day…
Given the assignment to read the book, each day of the first
week will be spent in class discussion on the book, as well as
short writing assignments periodically to make sure they did
actually read the book.
The first day of week two will be spent diving into theory
teams, followed by spending the rest of that period and the
next three days in the library researching and formulating
their argument using the computer and referencing to the
book assigned.
The final day of these two weeks will be spent in debate.
5. Use of Technology
They will be using the library computers to
create their PowerPoint presentations and
to research the projects.
The SmartBoard projector will be used in
class during their debate.
