Law but through faith in Christ Jesus, even we have believed in Christ
Jesus, so that we may be justified by faith in Christ and not by the
works of the Law; since by the works of the Law no flesh will be
justified.

11. 21For you have been called for this purpose, since Christ also
suffered for you, leaving you an example for you to follow in His steps,
22WHO COMMITTED NO SIN, NOR WAS ANY DECEIT FOUND IN
HIS MOUTH; 23and while being reviled, He did not revile in return;
while suffering, He uttered no threats, but kept entrusting Himself to
Him who judges righteously; 24and He Himself bore our sins in His
body on the cross, so that we might die to sin and live to
righteousness; for by His wounds you were healed. 25For you were
continually straying like sheep, but now you have returned to the
Shepherd and Guardian of your souls.

14. 1Therefore if there is any encouragement in Christ, if there is any consolation
of love, if there is any fellowship of the Spirit, if any affection and compassion,
2make my joy complete by being of the same mind, maintaining the same
love, united in spirit, intent on one purpose. 3Do nothing from selfishness or
empty conceit, but with humility of mind regard one another as more
important than yourselves; 4do not merely look out for your own personal
interests, but also for the interests of others. 5Have this attitude in yourselves
which was also in Christ Jesus, 6who, although He existed in the form of
God, did not regard equality with God a thing to be grasped, 7but emptied
Himself, taking the form of a bond-servant, and being made in the likeness of
men. 8Being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself by
becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross

15. 1What shall we say then? Are we to continue in sin so that grace may
increase? 2May it never be! How shall we who died to sin still live in it? 3Or
do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus have
been baptized into His death? 4Therefore we have been buried with Him
through baptism into death, so that as Christ was raised from the dead
through the glory of the Father, so we too might walk in newness of life. 5For
if we have become united with Him in the likeness of His death, certainly we
shall also be in the likeness of His resurrection, 6knowing this, that our old
self was crucified with Him, in order that our body of sin might be done away
with, so that we would no longer be slaves to sin; 7for he who has died is
freed from sin.
- Romans 6:1-7 NASB

Editor's Notes
How would you sumarize your life in 50 words or less? Gal 2:20 is a sumarization of Paul's life in Christ
This passage is recorded in all 4 Gospels and several times in the gospel of Matthew and three times in Luke. Paul's Statement in Gal. 2:20 seems to be an answer to Christ request in Luke 9

We have embossed a cross on our bibles or created jewlery to dangle from a necklace but in Paul's day the cross was an instrument of Rome to instill shame and fear, used one time by the Jewish priest to instill an agonizing death to the one they hated intently.
Christ expects us to die. We are to crucify the old man of sin.
In the Greek, the verb is first, the subject last and the emphasis clear. When satan come knocking at our door, the man of sin is no longer home to answer the call of satan.
It is not that we can not sin but that we no longer want to!!!
Being a Christian, being a Christite means more than theology or a certain belief, IT IS OUR LIFE IT IS WHO WE ARE!!!
