3. Resurrection—Past
“For I delivered to you first of all
that which I also received: that
Christ died for our sins according
to the Scriptures, and that He was
buried, and that He rose again the
third day according to the
Scriptures, and that He was
seen” (1 Corinthians 15:3–5 NKJV)
5. Resurrection—Future
“For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ
all shall be made alive.”
(1 Corinthians 15:22 NKJV)
“Do not marvel at this; for the hour is
coming in which all who are in the graves
will hear His voice and come forth—those
who have done good, to the resurrection of
life, and those who have done evil, to the
resurrection of condemnation.”
(John 5:28–29 NKJV)
6. Resurrection—Future
“Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but
we shall all be changed— in a moment, in the twinkling
of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound,
and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall
be changed.” (1 Corinthians 15:51–52 NKJV)
“For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a
shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the
trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first.
Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up
together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the
air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.”
(1 Thessalonians 4:16–17 NKJV)
7. Resurrection—Future
“who will transform our lowly
body that it may be conformed to
His glorious body, according to
the working by which He is able
even to subdue all things to
Himself.” (Philippians 3:21 NKJV)
8. Resurrection—Past & Future
“But now Christ is risen from the dead, and has
become the firstfruits of those who have fallen
asleep.” (1 Corinthians 15:20 NKJV)
“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus
Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has
begotten us again to a living hope through the
resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead”
(1 Peter 1:3 NKJV)
“And God both raised up the Lord and will also
raise us up by His power.”
(1 Corinthians 6:14 NKJV)
10. Resurrection—Present
“And you He made alive, who were dead in
trespasses and sins” (Ephesians 2:1 NKJV)
“even when we were dead in trespasses,
made us alive together with Christ (by grace
you have been saved), and raised us up
together, and made us sit together in the
heavenly places in Christ Jesus, that in the
ages to come He might show the exceeding
riches of His grace in His kindness toward us
in Christ Jesus.” (Ephesians 2:5–7 NKJV)
11. Resurrection—Present
Rom. 6:3 Or do you not know that as
many of us as were baptized into
Christ Jesus were baptized into His
death? 4 Therefore we were buried
with Him through baptism into
death, that just as Christ was raised
from the dead by the glory of the
Father, even so we also should walk
in newness of life.
12. Resurrection—Present
Rom. 6:5 For if we have been united together
in the likeness of His death, certainly we also
shall be in the likeness of His resurrection, 6
knowing this, that our old man was crucified
with Him, that the body of sin might be done
away with, that we should no longer be slaves
of sin. 7 For he who has died has been freed
from sin. 8 Now if we died with Christ, we
believe that we shall also live with Him, 9
knowing that Christ, having been raised from
the dead, dies no more. Death no longer has
dominion over Him.
13. Resurrection—Present
10 For the death that He died, He died to
sin once for all; but the life that He lives,
He lives to God. 11 Likewise you also,
reckon yourselves to be dead indeed to
sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus our
Lord.
22 But now having been set free from sin,
and having become slaves of God, you
have your fruit to holiness, and the end,
everlasting life.”
14. Resurrection—Present
“If then you were raised with Christ,
seek those things which are above,
where Christ is, sitting at the right
hand of God. Set your mind on things
above, not on things on the earth. For
you died, and your life is hidden with
Christ in God.”
(Colossians 3:1–3 NKJV)
