operations, and which includes veterans of the USSR’s war in Afghanistan in the
1980’s, initiates the Bounty Program, paying Taliban militants to kill U.S.
soldiers

• Early 2020: Seal Team 6 raids Taliban outpost, recovers $500,000 cash
• February: Russian Bounty info sent to National Security Council (NSC)
and included in Trump’s President’s Daily Brief (PDB, February 27th)
• Unlike all 7 previous Presidents, Trump rarely reads written Daily Briefing
• RB may not have been included in oral briefing - Trump has made it clear he
doesn’t want to hear anything negative about Russia, and staff tailor their words
• “If you talk about Russia, meddling, interference – that takes the PDB off the rails”
• March: US Intelligence holds large interagency meeting to discuss RB
program
• Central Intelligence Agency (CIA): RB intelligence credible, little doubt
• April 18: Trump “I have a very good relationship with Putin”

(“The Wire”), a regular compendium of classified intelligence reports that
can be accessed by other agencies, certain Congressional offices

• June 28: Trump tweet “Intel just reported to me that they did not find this
info credible and therefore did not report it to me or @VP Mike Pence…
Possibly another fabricated Russia Hoax.”
