1. SCRIPT FOR MR.POSTMAN
Girl wearing 60’s costume is looking out the window (waiting for a letter to
arrive)
She turns on the TV and the Marvellettes perform live on the screen.
Postman comes to the door and delivers a letter to the girl.
Letter turns into a laptop in her hands
She dances around the garden, celebrating the laptop
It is now the 1980’s and she is getting ready in her bedroom
The computer on her desk flashes ‘you got mail’ she walks over to the computer
and there are dancing people on the screen
The computer gets bigger and takes up the whole screen
A man hands a letter forward (this will later be her boyfriend)
She walks out her door down the road and she passes a council estate
As she stands in front of the council estates she changes into a 2010 girl
(costume change)
Her friends come towards her, but she looks sad.
They walk to a door and knock. Door opens and they walk into the party.
She goes into the toilet and is very distressed
She goes outside for a cigarette and her phone rings.
She answers and face time starts. He is on the other end talking
Conversation ends and she looks behind her
He is walking towards her (slow motion)
Flash backs
When he gets to her he gives her a letter and they hug.
