2. Abiotic Factors of the Forest
Ecosystem
• The abiotic factors of an ecosystem are the
non-living things.
• In the forest these are: rocks , grass , dead
trees , sticks , dead leaves and fallen fruit.
5. Biotic Factors in the Forest Ecosystem
• All the living thing in the forest ecosystem are:
bears, grass ,bunnies , foxes, ducks, alligators ,
swans, fish, tigers, trees, bushes and snakes.
6. How Biotic and Abiotic Factors work
together in the forest ecosystem.
• If there is not enough light in the forest the
trees will not grow because the trees need
light. If there is light all of the tree snakes can
live in the tree. There is more things that can
live in the trees.
• If there is no oxygen, every animal will die
even the people will die. If there is oxygen
everything can breathe and live.
8. What happens if there is a interruption
in the food chain?
• If there is an interruption in the food chain,
animals will die. For example, some moose
will die if a lot of the people kill the bunnies.
Then the moose will not have as much food
to eat.
9. Dangers to the forest ecosystem
• If there is danger in the forest like a fire, all of
the animals will die because there is fire
everywhere. If you are doing a nature walk,
you will die too. If there is a fireman, I know
that you won’t die.
10. Interesting facts about the forest
Did you now that the forest has millions of
tree? And if there is a lot of pollution, food
chains will be broken! That will be bad because
the animals will and even trees will die.
