Course Description:
This course will provide a framework as a guide to reducing stress levels via the psychological-
emotional aspect of wellness by teaching simple, doable strategies for reframing thought
processes and words that have become habits in our daily lives. We will discuss and explore the
practical skill of framing a conversation or event that occurs in life with the goal of switching
from a negative response to a positive response. Affirmation statements will be looked at closely
and the “why” behind their meaning. Application on a personal and professional relational level
will also be explored within the context of human behavior change and the cost-reward balance
