4. This island is located in
Galapagos, Ecuador. It is very
interesting because it was formed by
six volcanos and many of them are still
active. Also it is the most young island
in this archipelago, it has 1 million
years. It’s shape is the most attractive
characteristic, if you see it from the
sky it seems it’s a sea horse. Another
amazing fact, is that this island is full
of weird animals and special plants.
6. You can visit Sierra Negra which is the 2nd biggest
crater in the world. You can walk or ride a horse
until you get to the highest point.
Also you can make snorkel in “Los Tuneles”. They
are made of dry lava and you can appreciate
stingrays. It’s a place where you can rest in
beautiful calm waters.
A good idea, is to go to Tortuga Island. The journey
is 15 km long and you can dive and see amazing
birds.
8. For going to these trips the
costs are:
Sierra Negra: $35 if you want
to walk or $80 if you would like
to ride a horse per person.
“Los Tuneles”: $80 per person.
Tortuga Island: $160 per
person. It includes 2 dives,
equipment and transportation.
10. The only way to go to this
wonderful place is by plane. A
good airline is Aerogal which goes
from Quito to Guayaquil, this
flight lasts 45 minutes aprox. Then
you take another plane that after
an hour and a half you arrive to
Baltra Island. From this point you
go in a boat to the island you want
to go. For example, if you go to
Isabella Island it takes one hour
aprox.
