• Buses.
• There are several bus operators operating in Kuala Lumpur, linking the
city centre with the suburbs of the Klang Valley. The main operator is the

• TEXI.
• Metered taxis can be hailed throughout the city. However, traffic jams,

44. Kapitan Kelang Mosque
• The Kapitan Kelang Mosque was first erected by the troops of
the East India Company
• In 1801, the community, was granted with an 18-acre lot.
• The original mosque was a single-storey structure made of brick
• This white-washed mosque is adorned with yellow Mughal-style
domes and turrets
• The tall minaret, once used by the muezzin to deliver his call to
prayers, is located on the corner of Buckingham and Pitt Street.
