from Term 1 for public display -
we're officially famous!

notes to write a report with a

4. As well as fractions, Room 2 have been learning about volume and capacity in maths this
term. They experimented with measuring out ingredients to make their own cereal recipe.

language. To fit in with our topic in Term 2, Lilly has written about The Sea.
The Sea
The stormy sea is crashing on the rocky ledge,
noisily thundering down the beach. Children
splashing in the water. The sparkling blue beautiful
sea was washing kids up and down in the waves,
with babies making sandcastles and kids crossly
jumping over waves. The sea was as fast as a
cheetah. The sea was splashing like a big fish
jumping. Waves meeting each other. Dolphins
jumping out of the water. Waves roaring in the sea.
The waves are sparkling in the light of the sun.
Waves splash on the sand and wash away, leaving
behind nothing but their mark.
