6. Room 2 have been learning to create a picture in the reader's mind by using
descriptive language. To fit in with our topic in Term 2,Jennahas written about The
Sea.
Wow! What beautiful
racing, crashing, rolling and waving water.
It’s as blue as the sky, so blue. The waves
in the pretty sea are as lovely as the blue
sky. My favourite waves are the tiny waves.
The waves are a little tiny bit white when
they are washing up on the yellow sand.
The water sounds like there’s volcanoes
under the sea, only with watery salt inside
them.
