Introduction
We are planning to introduce social work agenda into politics for ensuring an effective political practice. Most of the parties
have their own vision and mission and they thought that it will only possibly accomplish when they will be in power. So their
all mission designed after getting in power but unfortunately all parties are not able to run government at a time. So
question is when they are in opposition what will be their role, definitely they will oppose the government and monitor the
running government activities ,In Bangladesh our Political culture is so back dated that each and every activist still following
their ancestry and previous leaders activities, says Nayan Bangalee. Same practice repeating at the same manner in every
context, But it should be more productive modern and updated. We need to use our leader and activist productively inside
the party and outside the party. Nobody are sleeping inside the party office. They are living any society, so they have their
responsibilities for their society as like party. If they feel that they are only obligated to the party not in the society, they will
not become a leader. Nayan Bangalee agrees with them who feels that politics is more responsible than any other
profession.
If doctor, engineer, and lawyers have their own daily routine and work for their profession so why not a politicians can set
their daily activities. Why political activist confused their life with personal and political. It is true that personal professional

life is separate that political life, but both must work there on fundamental.
Why Social Work Needs To Include In Politics
Politics are very common in all countries across the world. Some of the factors that play a greater role in the fields of
politics are the social work related to the community and society in general. The impacts of social work based politics in
Bangladesh are very evident and the impacts associated with it are very clear.
According to Nayan Bangalee, Social work is very important in politics. Generally, politics are concerned with the human
being’s association in form of political units and the government. Politics are concerned with the policies, organization, and
administration for the purpose of the well-being of society.
Social work deals with the responsibilities of the politicians or other people with a political job to deal with the problems that
may be affecting the community or various groups in the society (Wagner, 2019). Through the mandate that the people in
politics are given, they are involved in social activities where they can also study the nature of the association and
interactions of various people in the society for the purpose of inclusive growth and development.
People in politics are also involved in the making of policies and programs that help in coming up with solutions to the
problems affecting the community is found. Nayan Bangalee wonders that these solutions can be realized for the

promotion” to the people since social workers aim at promoting social change through the liberation and empowerment of
people, thus initiating an agenda of ethics of human rights and social justice since it is essential to social work.

involving all activities connecting to social change such as medication, cooperative and approval development, legislative

various aspect without any barrier. Two identities designed separately in the same box, but personal gain always ends

worker, he has no obligation for any particular party, so politicians are not independent though they are fighting for
freedom on the other hand. If social worker working for any organization they also somehow directed by that

well as the party.

Our objective is very clear that where competent leadership will be formed, on the basis of skill development and through
the measure of working on the ground.
We want the state to have elected representatives, as well as the highest example of the practice of democracy within the
party.
Social work covers many parts of politics, so that one can show the experience of working with social work based politics in
Bangladesh for many years before entering politics. Just as doctors internee, politicians will also internee to build a society
in life.
