2. Nestled in the heart of
the transition forest
approximately forty-
five minutes north of
Prince Albert, The
Quest is on the shore
of Christopher Lake.
3. Look for this sign as you
come around the bend, as
it marks the entrance to
The Quest
5. The Lodge is The Quest’s main building and where most of the indoor activities take place. The upstairs
features a dining hall with seating for 80+ people, as well as a commercial kitchen for food preparation. The
upstairs is also the location of the main meeting room, which can be configured with chairs in rows for
presentations, or chairs and tables for meetings, or left empty for multi-purpose activities. The downstairs
is home to a dozen hotel-style rooms, most of which have their own ½ bath for the comfort of the guests
staying there. You will need to have your retreaters provide their own bedding, though.
6. Standing on the large deck of the lodge gives a panoramic view of The Quest’s
waterfront area, as well as some of the other available facilities.
7. The waterfront area includes a
developed sand/gravel beach
for swimming, and a marked
swimming area with a raft and a
water-trampoline…
8. …as well as a boat launch
area with both a ski boat and
a pontoon boat for any kind
of lake activity you’d like!
9. Non-aquatic leisure activities include an archery
pit; a low ropes team-building course including
diverging cables, a tire traverse, a balance board
and an obstacle course; a playing field with a 30-
foot climbing wall (looks intimidating from the
bottom!); and horseshoes for the more relaxed.
10. If the weather isn’t conducive to
outdoor leisure, the Cover-All
(affectionately known as the
Bio-Dome) can be used for
indoor activities.
11. Right beside the Bio-Dome,
you’ll find the new play
structure, perfect for your
younger family members/guests.
12. If you are wanting your Quest stay to be a
little more rustic, a number of cabins are
available, with various levels of amenities.
Each cabin sleeps approximately 15.
13. If rustic isn’t your thing, but you
don’t need the whole lodge,
you can request the Retreat
House, a complete cabin, with
kitchen, for 15-20 guests.
14. For outdoor meetings, campfires, or
cookouts, a fire pit is available between the
lodge and the Retreat House, complete with
wiener roasting sticks, and benches. You may
even get a visit from the local wildlife!
15. I hope you’ve enjoyed your
look around The Quest! Come
back and visit us again soon!
