3. These are the questions you have to
ask yourself:
I. Do I love the mother of my children?
Eph 5:25 “Husbands,
love your wives, even as
Christ also loved the
church, and gave himself
for it;”
4. Sensitivity- being sensitive to her
needs and feelings.
“Unconditionally.”
There are two examples Paul gave,
first is “just as Christ loved the
church” secondly is to “Love their
wives as their own bodies”
5. II. Am I A Good Provider?
1 Timothy 5:8 “But if
anyone does not provide
for his own, and
especially for those of his
household, he has denied
the faith and is worse
than an unbeliever.”
6. 2 Thessalonians 3:10
“If anyone will not work,
neither shall he eat.”
III. Do I Protect My Family
Especially My Children?
7. IV. Do I Discipline My Children?
Things to remember in disciplining
your children:
Never punish your
children when you
are angry. We do not
punish our children to
satisfy our pride but
to correct them for
their own good.
8. Proverbs 13:24 “He who
spares his rod hates his
son, but he who loves
him disciplines him
promptly.”
9. What Kind of Legacy Are You
Building?
Deuteronomy 6:4-9 “Hear, O
Israel: The LORD our God, the
LORD is one! 5 You shall love the
LORD your God with all your
heart, with all your soul, and with
all your strength. 6 “And these
words which I command you
today shall be in your heart.
10. 7 You shall teach them diligently
to your children, and shall talk of
them when you sit in your house,
when you walk by the way, when
you lie down, and when you rise
up. 8 You shall bind them as a
sign on your hand, and they shall
be as frontlets between your eyes.
9 You shall write them on the
doorposts of your house and on
your gates.”
