This document provides instructions for a paper assignment with two sections. The first section requires the student to introduce themselves as a leader, including their lack of professional experience, leadership style as a diplomat based on an assessment, and leadership philosophy. The second section asks the student to describe and evaluate a leader from personal or professional experience, addressing how that leader transformed challenges into opportunities, brought people together, created hope, connected with others, demonstrated compassion, and understood their own and others' emotions within the organizational culture. The paper should be 4-6 pages not including title page or references, and cite at least three scholarly sources.
