This document outlines a lesson plan for teaching students about two-dimensional slices of three-dimensional objects. The lesson includes 8 stations where students will explore slices of shapes like prisms, pyramids, cylinders and cones. At each station, students will view and analyze 2D slices of 3D objects. At the end, students are asked to describe the method they used to create 2D representations from 3D shapes. The overall aim is for students to understand 2D slices of 3D objects.
