La realtà dei numeri mette quindi a nudo le bugie su
cui si è fondata gran parte della recente campagna
elettorale: il Governo Monti è riuscito a tenere il
carico fiscale e la spesa pubblica al di sotto degli
impegni assunti dal Governo Berlusconi.
Risultati conseguiti in un frangente difficilissimo che
testimoniano la bontà e l’oculatezza della politica
economica del Governo Monti, senza la quale oggi
l’Italia dovrebbe più probabilmente fronteggiare
richieste da parte dell’Europa di piani straordinari di
prelevamenti a favore dello Stato, invece che
negoziare con essa, in deroga ai vincoli di bilancio,
piani straordinari di pagamenti a favore dei fornitori
della pubblica amministrazione che consentiranno di
dare ossigeno all’economia del Paese.
