General Syllabus for Level II Class
                  Barcelona - October 12-14, 2012


Friday
Morning Session

   Introduction and Overview Presentation on Advanced Listening Techniques.
                  These involve more generalized listening techniques for assessing organ and
                  structural dysfunctions. This is known in osteopathic jargon as “general listening.”
   Tracking the “inherent treatment plan”
   Chip will treat a few patients by way of demonstrating these techniques and
   illustrating how we applies them in his own clinical practice.

Afternoon Session

   Review of Manual Thermal Diagnosis (MTD), and Cranial Rhythmic Impulse (CRI) w/
   practice sets, optimally treating live patients.




Saturday
Morning Session

   Review of Anatomical Landmarks for General and Local Listening
   Diagnostic practice sets using participants as subjects.



Afternoon Session

   Review of Fluid Dynamics
   Introduction to Ignition/ Pivot of Nothingness. Taking the next step in needle
   technique and dynamic stillness.
   Practice sets implementing previously introduced material using patients invited by
   participants
Sunday
Morning Session

    Discussion and practice sets focusing on the integration of these techniques into
    participant’s existing practice styles using patients invited by participants



Afternoon Session - (possibly a short session finishing at 3:00/4:00)

    Exploration of palpatory phenomena discovered by partcipants in the course of their
    own clinical practice.



As previously mentioned, the class will focus on the following topics.

1) Tracking an “inherent treatment plan.”

2) Developing more generalized listening techniques for assessing organ and structural
   dysfunctions. This is known in osteopathic jargon as “general listening.”

3) Ignition

4) We will review or otherwise delve more deeply into those concepts and techniques
   that are of greatest interest to you.

5) Perhaps most importantly, I want to help you most effectively integrate all of these
   palpation techniques into your own practice. There will be ample time for us to work
   on this in a hands-on context.
