HATE Food waste!!!!
How we collected it We went to the dining hall and the concert hall at lunch We gathered the bags of wastes and counted them up
Lunch time We collected 2 bags of food waste and 2 bags of rubbish This = 4 bags of waste
What this means 5 days in a week = 20 bags of waste 6 weeks in a half term = 120 bags of waste 2 half terms in a term =240 bags of waste 3 terms in a year = 720 bags of waste This is only at lunchtime!!!
Overall This makes 1080 bags of food and general waste in a year!!!!!! We need to change the way we use the environment.

Food Waste Collection and Analysis at a University

  • 2. How we collected it We went to the dining hall and the concert hall at lunch We gathered the bags of wastes and counted them up
  • 3. Lunch time We collected 2 bags of food waste and 2 bags of rubbish This = 4 bags of waste
  • 4. What this means 5 days in a week = 20 bags of waste 6 weeks in a half term = 120 bags of waste 2 half terms in a term =240 bags of waste 3 terms in a year = 720 bags of waste This is only at lunchtime!!!
  • 5. Overall This makes 1080 bags of food and general waste in a year!!!!!! We need to change the way we use the environment.
