Fields
“Where I come from
I am a single blade of grass, in a wide open field
Constantly growing but getting cut down,
Since I have provided little yield.
With the rain and shine
I absorb a range, from the bad to the kind.
I am the same as the one I stand beside.
Becoming unique is so hard,
Believe me we all have once tried.
Striving for individuality, blinded by the sun
Bound by my roots I can never become undone.
Where I come from there is no escaping”
People
“it’s those who,
I suppose, support and not oppose me,
that I hold so closely,
those who even when I’m ghostly,
remove the lonely, and show me,
a cozy home even if its just their name to hold in my mind alone.”
Boats
“Ding!
As I’m sitting there bored, a lightbulb appears above my head.
Ding dong!
The lightbulb flashes. I listen to my winning thoughts, and realize to cure my
boredom I should go sailing today.
Kerplunk!
I sit down in my boat, put on my captain hat and prepare for heavy waves.
Swing!
I make it safely into the ocean, and am ready for a fun, relaxing ride.
Whoosh!
The wind blows back and forth as I happily sail along the ocean.
Splash!
The oar hits the water as I keep rowing along.
Zip, zap, fling!
A pack of fish seem to swim and jump alongside me.
Vroom!
Suddenly a big motor boat speeds right by me.
Quack!
An obnoxious duck continues to quack and flies above my head.
Boink!
Out of nowhere I hear something crash down around me!
Hissssssss…
I am nervous as I fear something is around me.
Sinnnnnggggg……
What could it possibly be?
I become very quiet, stand up and examine my surroundings…….
SPLISH-SPLASH!
And just like that, I lose my balance and fall into the water.
Beach Trash
“When I see trash on the beach it’s so sad.
From the trash’s perspective;
Someone thought it was so useless, that they didn’t even give it a proper burial.
Didn’t even take the time to throw it away.
From the sand’s perspective;
Someone thought it was so useless that it was trash.
Just threw used up things on it like a plastic. Trash bin.”
Pretty Girl
“She stood in the door
The most beautiful woman
Of all time. EVER.”
