UD-UQ ELI is a joint initiative between the University of Danang (UD) and the
University of Queensland (UQ). Its mission is to provide world-class English
language and communications training programs, teacher training and professional
development in Danang and the central region of Vietnam.
The UD-UQ ELI takes a communicative approach to language teaching and
learning. The aim is to teach language for communication, and thus the programs
emphasize development of listening, speaking, reading and writing skills. A learner-
centered approach is adopted in the classroom, with controlled and free practice in
pair and group work used to develop fluency.

Beân caïnh muïc tieâu cung caáp nhöõng chöông trình ñaøo taïo tieáng Anh mang ñaúng caáp
quoác teá, UD-UQ ELI mong muoán xaây döïng vaø ñaøo taïo ñoäi nguõ giaùo vieân chuyeân
nghieäp cho TP. Ñaø Naüng vaø caùc tænh thaønh ôû khu vöïc mieàn Trung Vieät Nam.
UD-UQ ELI aùp duïng phöông phaùp giao tieáp trong vieäc daïy vaø hoïc tieáng Anh. Caùc
khoùa hoïc seõ ñöôïc nhaán maïnh ôû vieäc phaùt trieån kyõ naêng nghe, noùi, ñoïc vaø vieát.
Phöông phaùp “laáy ngöôøi hoïc laøm trung taâm” seõ ñöôïc aùp duïng trong lôùp hoïc, cuøng
vôùi vieäc söû duïng phöông phaùp reøn luyeän theo caëp hoaëc theo nhoùm moät caùch thoaûi
maùi nhaèm phaùt trieån khaû naêng söû duïng ngoân ngöõ löu loaùt cho hoïc vieân.
