COURSES UD-UQ ELI
By Tran Thi Huyen Trang, PA
Have you studied English at many English language centres, but are still not confident enough to communicate in
English? Do you want to improve your English communication skills in the shortest possible time?
The English for International Business Communication (EIBC) course is available at the UD-UQ ELI and most
suitable for those wanting to learn the language of business. At 60 hours per course, it will shorten your study
time remarkably.
You can easily see the benefits of this course both during your study time as well as after finishing the course. In
particular, you will:
- improve your speaking and listening skills in social and working environments
- enhance your communicative ability using your newly acquired vocabulary within a business context
- develop cross-cultural awareness in business communication and in your professional work environment
The EIBC course is really helpful for you if you are going to apply to work in a professional work environment
where English is the main language of communication, moreover, the EIBC course will help those who are good at
grammar but who have problems expressing themselves and communicating in English because of a lack of
vocabulary.

Do you want to take an IELTS test to study overseas, but your English skills
are limited?
What kind of English course should you choose to prepare for the IELTS test?
What can you do to improve your English skill to get a higher IELTS score?
If your English is at a low level, the UD-UQ ELI always advises customers to choose a General English course.
With 240 hours of a GE course, customers will increase their English skills such as writing, reading,
speaking, listening, vocabulary development, pronunciation, spelling etc, and in particular their speaking
and listening skills will improve remarkably. UD-UQ ELI is an English speaking environment, so if you are a
student at UD-UQ ELI, you have to obey the “Speak English Only” regulation.
However, if you don’t have enough time to spend 240 hours on GE, the IELTS/GE combination is suggested.
When taking this course, you will not only improve all of your English skills generally, but also combine that
with IETLS preparation at the same time.
Last but not least, the IELTS/EAP preparation course is a really effective contribution to your IELTS score.
Through this course, you will approach and face different kinds of IELTS test skills. Helpful tips and
preparation for the IELTS test are delivered by professional and highly experienced teachers.
After all of this, a high score for your IELTS test is at your arm’s reach and you will see that with a high IELTS
score, your dreams will come true!
