Why liquid cooling?
A Personal Computer liquid-cooling system
works a lot like the cooling system of a car.
Both take advantage of a basic principle of
thermodynamics - heat moves from warmer
objects to cooler objects.

With the latest trends of using multiple processors and graphics cards in modern Gaming PCs and Professional Workstations it has
become a challenge to ensure the best possible performance and silent operation.

EKWB Water blocks offer lower profile cooling solution thus allowing double compute
power in the same cubic footprint. At the
same time this further increases the overclocking potencial of computer component.

Modern age CPU processors are dissipating
twice as much heat as they were five years
ago, which is even more true for the GPU
processors. Today, most powerful dual-processor graphics card can dissipate as much
as 380 watts of heat. Heat flux from these
chips easily exceeds that of a nuclear reactor!

Liquid cooling is the best solution for efficient heat removal due to the unmatched
thermal performance. Liquid is the only way

microprocessor and transfers it into the
coolant flowing through the micro fins, which

Supremacy
series

EK-Supremacy is a result of around the clock development, years of experience and rigorous
testing. As a new EK flagship this product combines top hydraulic and thermal performance on the
market. Fits all modern CPU sockets and is equipped with a universal mounting mechanism that
offers error-preventing, tool-less installation.
The cooling liquid accelerates through jet plate’s nozzle and turbulently continues its path through
numerous very thin channels which provide maximum cooling surface area. Specifically designed
and carefully machined copper base (sometimes referred to as ‘cold plate’) is made from purest
copper available and is further polished to absolute mirror finish. This alone greatly improves the
cooling performance of EK-Supremacy.
EK-Supremacy is also the first CPU water block on the market which has been optimized for
every modern CPU platform independently with the use of different type of jet plates to ensure the
best contact with the CPU integrated heat spreader (IHS). These jet plates of different shape and
thickness are enclosed with the product.

Blocks

EK Full Cover blocks are designed for the die-hard enthusiasts that seek an all-in-one cooling
solution for their graphics card. The main advantage is that all heat generating components on the
graphics card that need cooling are being cooled by a single cooling unit - EK Full Cover water block.
The base of the block is made of SE CU electrolytic copper. EK Full Cover water blocks cooling engine
uses a narrow micro-channel fin design for maximum cooling performance. The low pressure drop of
EK Full Cover water blocks ensures great cooling performance even when low power water pumps are
employed. We offer numerous variants for both reference as well as custom design graphics cards.

VGA
Supremacy
series

EK-VGA Supremacy is a maximum performance Universal GPU water block built using EK-Supremacy CPU block technology and experience. This results in top hydraulic and thermal performance and is the best cooling solution for lower power (< 100W) graphics cards and graphics cards
unsupported by Full Cover water blocks.
EK-VGA Supremacy series water blocks are available in standalone as well as Bridge Edition. The
later greatly simplifies piping of multiple inter-connected water blocks.

combine elegant Cool Black design with the latest radiator core engine technology. Available in
various fan size form factors and thicknesses, these radiators are optimized for maximum heat

EK assured optimal quality-price-performance ratio and unique minimalistic design that make these
EK-CoolStream series radiators a perfect choice for any computer water cooled system.
Copper fins provide massive surface area while the parallel flow cooling chambers reduce hydraulic
flow resistance to a minimum. Radiator shrouds are tapped on both sides to enable push-pull fan
configuration which allows additional improvement of cooling performance.

The EK-RES Cylindrical type reservoir was designed as a configurable multi-port reservoir. It features
hydraulically balanced inlet/outlet port configuration for easier and more straightforward fitting
configuration and tube routing. Special attention has been put on the reservoir’s bottom terminal
which is optimized for best flow. Vortex occurrence is diminished with the use of anti-cyclone barrier
as well as additional PE foam. Reservoir is manufactured from premium quality 60mm acrylic tube
and POM Acetal end caps. All these features result in easier-than-ever mounting and filling.

Simple, compact yet very efficient water bay reservoirs are available in both single- as well as
dual 5.25” form factor for everybody looking to optimize space usage. These reservoirs allow
for easiest installation as they fit in majority of computer chasses with no additional modification
or preparation.

EK-CSQ Fittings

EK-CSQ Compression Fitting is a real high flow fitting. Made of machined brass and comes with
quality O-ring gasket. It has aesthetically pleasing design with minimalistic logo while tightly securing
the tubing to the barb to ensure a leak-free seal. EK-CSQ Adapter fittings allow connection of any
standard G1/4” threaded fittings to extend tubing possibilities.

Multiple VGA
block connectivity

EK developed a unique system connection of multiple GPU water blocks, both Full-Cover as well
as Universal VGA types. The system allows both parallel- and serial flow with various methods of
interconnectivity including FC Bridges, FC Terminals and HD Adapters.

EK-Ekoolant

EK-Ekoolant is a Pre-mixed, ready to use high performance liquid cooling system coolant that fits
perfectly with EK water blocks. Ekoolant contains Corrosion inhibitors for use in mixed-metal cooling
circuits and Biocide against algae growth. Stable water based dye assures clog-free operation.
Filled in Slovenia with purest distilled water from the Alps. Available in several trendy colors.

PrimoFlex

Primoflex tubing has been designed and manufactured for today’s evolving standards in the PC
water cooling industry. PrimoChill’s proprietary blend of extremely low durometer PVC and a more
rigid polymer resin gives PrimoFlex™ Advanced LRT™ its unbeatable bend ratio and durability.
Advanced LRT™ smooth surface inhibits particulate gathering onto the tubing wall.

EK-Tube ZMT

EK ZMT (Zero Maintenance Tubing) is a high quality industrial grade EPDM rubber tubing in stylish
matte black. Unlike most PVC and PUR tubing this EK made tubing ensures long lasting operation
and does not suffer from plasticizer leaching effect which can cause blockage in a liquid cooling
loop. EK ZMT tubing is guaranteed to be hassle-free during it’s lifetime

Indigo Extreme

EK-TIM Indigo Xtreme represents a whole new approach to high-performance cooling of your CPU.
Indigo Xtreme is an Engineered Thermal Interface (ETI) that fits neatly between a CPU lid and water
block to keep CPUs cooler. Unlike greases, metallic pads or liquid metal alloys, Indigo Xtreme™ is a
self-contained and sealed structure, deploying a Phase Change Metallic Alloy (PCMA) which reflows
and fills surface asperities making it void-free and robust, with low thermal contact and bulk resistance.

Milestones
2003

EK-6, derived from EK-4, became
Edvard’s first mass produced CPU
Edvard’s dream came true. He finally
designed and machined his first prototypes called the EK-1, EK-2 and EK-3.

2007

EK Water Blocks introduced the ultimate performance EK-Supreme CPU
water block. The newcomer outperformed all current competition and became one of the most popular CPU
water blocks.

The Beginning
Edvard König Water Blocks (EKWB) is a story written
by a man who is seeking perfection in the PC world.
Starting as a hobby - fiddling with PCs and looking for
silence and lower temperatures, he was not satisfied
with the water blocks on the market, so he decided to
make one himself - and he made it in 3 days. It worked
flawlessly. Impressing an online community, he quickly
realized there could be great potential in this business.
The Early Years
Upon the initial success, he sought additional business knowledge. Enter Matjaz Krc, business partner
from then on. This team prepared the foundation of
the company. In only six months, the distribution network all over the world was established. At this early
stage, a small team of committed and passionate
people was put together, and consistently has been
growing since that time. And this is what EKWB calls
its core of success.
Developing the Brand
It turned out the PC scene was craving for liquid cooled
solutions. In 2006 AMDs and Pentiums were getting way to hot and needed liquid cooling. That not
being enough, Edvard knew that the only way to succeed was to provide clean, good looking, reasonably
priced, quality products. And this is not a goal, it is an
ongoing passion.

EKWB introduced world’s first AIO Full
Board water block - a revolutionary allin-one single-piece motherboard water
cooling solution. The approach was
soon adopted throughout the industry.

2013

EKWB’s most successful year so far released no less than 60 different types
and more than 200 variants of water
blocks in a single year.
