They asked for special borrowing privileges.

Good working relationship, second copies of library materials, etc.
About P&P collection, events, related programs.
Funding for student-related events from SGA, specifically for us, movie screenings.
We contacted the student literary magazine, Prelude, about partnering for events.
We failed to get the hook in.
Never got the money, hard time contacting SGA or student group for follow-up. Lacked both $ and promotional backing.
It’s about both parties equally; approacher, and approachee.
Find the hook; their and.
In summation, don’t just say yes, e.g. agree with what somebody else wants. Be enthusiastic, be sincere; add your own needs and perspectives and abilities. Say yes, AND!
