1. Some "stuff" I live by:
1. Know which bridges to cross and which ones to burn.
2. Sometimes, it's better to be happy than right.
3. Treat each disaster as if it were only an incident and don't let any incident
become a disaster.
4. Play hard, live long, die well.
5. Know when to walk away from "the table".
6. Make each day count.
7. If not you, then who?
8. Act like a person of thought and think like a person of action.
9. When there’s no way out of a situation, find a way further in.
10. Trust, but verify.
Some other important "stuff":
1. Nations fall when they lose their sense of humor.
2. Remember what we learned in Kindergarten...the World can be a scary
place...so when we go out into the World, let's hold hands and stick together.
3. Don’t just believe a thing because it’s eloquently spoken or distrust it because
it’s stuttered.
4. Before enlightenment, you chop wood and carry water. After
enlightenment, you chop wood and carry water. The small things matter.
5. It’s just not important to understand what someone is thinking…the fact
they’re thinking is just as important.
6. When duty calls, rise to the occasion.
7. Try to worry about “next time”, next time. Enjoy living in the moment.
8. You can because you think you can.
9. “One Band…One Sound.”
10. Remember what Master Yoda said, “…’do’ or ‘no do’, no ‘try’.”
