2. Dear Tulsians,
As I have been emphasising in the past few Interacts, FCEW
is the slogan this year to achieve our targets. We need to talk
and walk FCEW without which we will be unable to achieve
the desired results. TM is fully focused, committed, will
execute and will Walk the Talk.
TM, RM & BM are focused towards CRM and are meeting Top customers on monthly basis.
Due to the quality sales lead shared by BMs, we were able to catch couple of elusive
tigers. Hence we need to aim towards sharing some quality sales leads and customer
references and I am sure we will be able to catch those elusive tigers easily and quickly.
ISO is a standard that sets out the requirements for a Quality Management System. We
already have systems and procedures in place in order to provide ECS. ECS is our motto
and we have to ensure that each and every customer is given ECS right from the receipt
of documents till the delivery of goods. The key to Excellent Customer Service is building
good relationship with your customers. Quality customer service will have a big impact on
TKPL, being recognised by customers as a customer-oriented company.
Festival season is coming up
next month..
Wish you all a Very Happy
Dassera & Happy Diwali in
advance. Enjoy and have a
safe Diwali.
Regards,
Rajen

So...! What is it that we get to learn
from the Lion?
We don't need to be the fastest.
We don't need to be the wisest.
We don't need to be the smartest.
We don't need to be the most brilliant?.
We don't need to be generally accepted to
become our dreams and be great in life.
All we need is courage.
All we need is boldness.
All we need is the will to try.
All we need is the faith to believe it is
possible.
All we need is to believe in ourselves
that we can do it.
It's TIME to bring out The Lion in
Ourselves

In the jungle which animal is the biggest?
I heard you say, Elephant
In the jungle which animal is the tallest?
I heard you say, Giraffe.
In the jungle which animal is the wisest?
I heard you say, Fox.
In the jungle which animal is the fastest?
I heard you say, Cheetha.
Among all these wonderful qualities
mentioned, where is the Lion in the picture.
Yes, We say the Lion is the KING of the
jungle even without ANY of these
Qualities.
Why? Because
The Lion is Courageous, the Lion is very
Bold, the Lion is always ready to face any
Challenges, any barrier that crosses his
part, no matter how big they are.
The Lion walks with Confidence. The Lion
dares anything and is never afraid. The Lion
believes he is Unstoppable. The Lion is a
risk taker. The Lion believes any animal is food
for him.
The Lion believes any opportunity is worth
giving a try and never allows it slip from his
hands. The Lion has charisma.

Mother Teresa was born, August 26, 1910, in Skopje,
capital of the Republic of Macedonia, at a young age
she felt a calling to be a nun and serve through
helping the poor. At the age of 18 she was given
permission to join a group of nuns in Ireland. After a
few months of training, with the Sisters of Loreto,
she was then given permission to travel to India. She
took her formal religious vows in 1931, and chose to
be named after St Therese of Lisieux – the patron
saint of missionaries.
On her arrival in India, she began by working as a
teacher, however the widespread poverty of
Calcutta made a deep impression on her; and this led
to her starting a new order called “The Missionaries
of Charity”. The primary objective of this mission
was to look after people, who nobody else was
prepared to look after. Mother Teresa felt that
serving others was a key principle of the teachings of
Jesus Christ.
In 1952, she opened her first home for the dying,
which allowed people to die with dignity. Mother
Teresa often spent time with those who were dying
Over time the work grew. Missions were started
overseas, and by 2013, there are 700 missions
operating in over 130 countries. The scope of their
work also expanded to include orphanages and
hospices for those with terminal illness.
In 1979, she was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize “for
work undertaken in the struggle to overcome poverty
and distress, which also constitutes a threat to
peace.” She didn’t attend the ceremonial banquet,
but asked that the $192,000 fund be given to the
poor.
Awards Mother Teresa
• Padma Shri – (1962)
• Jawaharlal Nehru Award for International
Understanding (1969)
• The first Pope John XXIII Peace Prize. (1971)
• The Sword of Honor from the Prime Minister
of the Yemen Arab Republic (1974
• Albert Schweitzer International Prize (1975)
• The Nobel Peace Prize (1979)
• Bharat Ratna – 1980
• Order of the smile
• Order of Australia (1982)
• Order of Merit ( 1983 )
• Presidential medal of freedom (1985)
• States Presidential Medal of Freedom (1985)
• Honorary citizenship of the United States
(November 16, 1996)
• Congressional Gold Medal (1997)
Mother Teresa died on September 5, 1997, at the age
of 87. In 2002, the Vatican recognized a first miracle
involving an Indian woman named Monica Besra, who
said she was cured of an abdominal tumor through
Mother Teresa's intercession on the one year
anniversary of her death in 1998. She was beatified
as "Blessed Teresa of Calcutta" on October 19, 2003
in a ceremony led by Pope John Paul II.
Mother Teresa said, "By blood, I am Albanian. By
citizenship, I am an Indian. By faith, I am a Catholic
nun. As to my calling, I belong to the world. As to my
heart, I belong entirely to the Heart of Jesus."
On December 17, 2015, Pope Francis issued a decree
that recognized a second miracle attributed to
Mother Teresa, clearing the way for her to be
canonized as a saint of the Roman Catholic Church.
The second miracle involved the healing of Marcilio
Andrino, a Brazilian man who was diagnosed with a
viral brain infection and lapsed into a coma. His
wife, family and friends prayed to Mother Teresa,
and when the man was brought to the operating
room for emergency surgery, he woke up without
pain and was cured of his symptoms, according to a
statement from the Missionaries of Charity Father.
Mother Teresa has been declared “Saint Teresa of
Calcutta” on September 4, by the Pope Francis at
Vatican City. Pope Francis led the canonization Mass,
which was held in St. Peter's Square in Vatican City.
Tens of thousands of Catholics and pilgrims from
around the world attended the canonization to
celebrate the woman who had been called “the saint
of the gutters” during her lifetime because of her
charitable work with the poor.
The Pope spoke about Mother Teresa’s life of service
in the homily. ”Mother Teresa, in all aspects of her
life, was a generous dispenser of divine mercy,
making herself available for everyone through her
welcome and defense of human life. He also told the
faithful to follow her example and practice
compassion. “Mercy was the salt which gave flavour
to her work, it was the light which shone in the
darkness of the many who no longer had tears to
shed for their poverty and suffering,” he said,
adding. "May she be your model of holiness."

Every day after bathing from Holy River, I
could see the Footsteps of God behind my
footsteps & my heart filled with proud.
But all the days are not the same. I had to
face a very difficult phase of my life. It was
really a very crucial period. Health issues,
Business issues, Money Problems, I was really
sinking in the Ocean of Problems. I was ready
to face all the challenges but I was
heartbroken as my God was not with me as he
had promised earlier. I observed that his
footsteps behind my footsteps in the sands of
the river suddenly disappeared.
As all of us know "Time is the Best Medicine",
slowly and gradually I could overcome all the
Problems & back to track.
My routine remained unchanged. One fine day
while walking towards the temple after
bathing in Holy River, I saw the footsteps of
God behind my footsteps in the sands of Holy
River. I was surprised & even got angry too.
I stood in front of God in temple & asked him
in Rage. "God", you must be remembering
that you had promised me you will be behind
me throughout my life. But you have breached
that promise.
"God" laughed and asked me “How Come”?
I answered him in anger that your footsteps
behind my footsteps were missing on the
sands of river during my bad time.
God laughed again & said in humble voice. "My
Dear" the footsteps you saw on the sands of
river was not yours infact it was mine & in
your bad time, I had carried you on my
shoulders.
I was totally speechless.
My eyes were filled with tears.
I bowed down towards God.
God was just smiling.

I was very much Happy & confident on those
days. I can say I was over confident. But I was
not at all aware that my confidence & my
pride are converting into ego. I don’t deny
that for this state of my mind there was a
valid reason.
Every day after bathing from Holy River, I used
to go to the temple barefooted. God has
promised me in my dream that he will be
behind me throughout my life & I can see his
footsteps behind my footsteps on the sands of
the river while walking towards the temple.
Footsteps
of God.

5 Successful Freight Sales
Prospecting Tips!
1. The Sweetest Sound To A Person’s Ear Is
The Sound Of Their “NAME”!
This is not only about saying their name, but
also hearing it pronounced correctly. Repeat it
many times while conversing with your freight
sales prospects.
2. The Soft Sell In A Nutshell!
Here’s what must be in your mindset when
going into every single freight sales call:
Don’t Talk –
Listen
Don’t Tell – Ask
Don’t Sell – Solve
Don’t Pitch –
Probe
Don’t Leave –
Close
Remember: It’s
never about you or
your business when going into a freight sales
call. It’s all about your prospect. When it’s
about them, you’ll talk very little and you’ll
listen. You won’t tell, you’ll ask. You won’t
sell, you’ll solve their shipping challenges.
You won’t pitch, you’ll keep probing and
asking and you won’t leave until you close.
Closing means getting on your prospect’s
freight list. Once you’re on their freight list,
then it’s just a matter of quoting them solid
and reasonable freight rates.
3. Don’t Say Or Do Anything That
Can Be Construed As Being
Deceptive.
Such as: Saying it’s a personal call
when it’s not. Or, you’re following
up on a previous call when you
haven’t spoken before!
Shipping Decision Makers have the
ability to find out if you’re being
untruthful or deceptive. Being
deceptive is not the way to begin a
long term business relationship.
4. Your Prospect’s Perception Of You
Rises In Proportion To How Much You Know
About Them & Their Challenges.
Use the gatekeeper to collect this valuable
information! If the gatekeeper works closely
with your decision maker, they’ll be in tune
with the challenges of the shipping decision
maker. You may not get these details right
away. However, when you continue calling
and emailing, you’ll continue building a
relationship with the gatekeeper as well.
You’ll then find out what their challenges are
very quickly.
5. Call That Tough-To-Reach Shipping
Decision Maker During Their Lunch, Or
Before Starting Time.
The opportunity to
get through is
much higher
during these
times! Most
individuals don’t
leave during
lunch. An even
better time to call
is toward the end
of lunch between 12:30 PM and 1:00 PM their
time.

Having a baby bought me mixed feelings of joy
and anxiety.
It took some time to cope with it. But realized
that it is a beautiful thing ever happen in any
girl life,
As it a transition phases in her life from girl to
woman.
Becoming a mother expands the parameters
of what love looks like to you by opening up a
part of your heart that you didn't know
existed. This kind of love is entirely different
than the love you have for your parents,
spouse, etc
Suddenly you have experiences like having to
stay awake all night to care for your baby,
crying, colic, loss of prior freedoms, and other
adjustments. Your life is entirely different,
and you're learning how to adapt and figure
out everything during a time when you are so
tired that you can't see straight. For working
mom, it is slight difficult as she needs to
balance the activities.(work , home & child).
Kids challenge you, mold you, and in many
ways, define you.
The important thing to realize is that you're
not alone. All mothers experience the same
process, and you will get through it. You don't
have to be perfect, but you do have to
understand that it's OK to make mistakes in
motherhood. All mothers make mistakes, and
you will too. Just don't be judgmental with
yourself.
Just go with the flow and you will enjoy being
a mother.

SMART Goals
If you ask most people what is their one major
objective in life, they would probably give you a
vague answer, such as, "I want to be successful,
be happy, make a good living," and that is it. They
are all wishes and none of them are clear goals.
Goals must be SMART:
S Specific. For example, "I want to lose
weight." This is wishful thinking. It becomes a
goal when I pin myself down to "I will lose 10 kg
in 90 days."
M Must be Measurable. If we cannot
measure it, we cannot accomplish it.
Measurement is a way of monitoring our
progress.
A Must be Achievable. Achievable
means that it should be out of reach enough to
be challenging but it should not be out of sight,
otherwise it becomes disheartening.
R Realistic. A person who wants to lose
50 Kg in 30 days is being unrealistic.
T Time bound. There should be a
starting date and a finishing date.

sixty year old enjoy firing crackers and having
their favourite sweets on a Diwali day. However
we also see and hear a lot of accidents related
to Diwali crackers in the the newspaper and TV
news channels. Most of these unfortunate
accidents can be prevented by following these
basic tips. Hope you take some cues from this
page and have a safe and joyful Diwali.
The Dos:
Make sure you buy
Fireworks from a
licensed shop.
Always keep the
fireworks in a closed box.
Store crackers away
from sources of fire or
ignition; also keep
them away from the
reach of toddlers.
Burst crackers in open
spaces like
playgrounds and
fields.
While lighting the
crackers, stand at an
arm's length, away
from the Cracker.
Discard used
fireworks in a bucket of
water this way you
can avoid people from
stepping on to
and hurting their feet
from used fireworks which are
thrown on the ground.
Keep buckets of water and blankets ready,
in case a fire breaks out.
While igniting Diwali aerial fireworks like
rockets, ensure that they are not facing any

This water formed River Kaveri and is

This Lord Ganapathi
story is a favorite one
among kids. Once upon
a time, Sage Agastya
sought the blessings of
Lord Brahma and
Shiva.
The sage wished to
create flowing river in
a suitable location to
offer water to the
southern lands. The
Gods, listening to his prayers, had his kamandalu
filled with sacred water.
The Sage then reached the Coorg Mountains. On
his way, he spotted a small boy and requested
him to take good care of his pot containing water
as he needed to go to toilet.
