Global citizen is collaboration and communication between
students from different countries through the Internet and
school should give student the needed skills to use technology.
The new technology makes communication among the students
and teachers from different countries easier and faster.
Explosion in technology motivate collaboration and
communication in education. Nowadays, the students from
different countries work together through Internet to share ideas
and information.
Flat classroom is a global collaborative among teachers and
students from different countries through the Internet. Wiki is
an example for flat classroom. Students can work through wiki
from different countries in one project to share ideas and
information. The flat classroom gives students opportunity to
experience different culture and exchange information.
I think this type of project gives appropriate answer for the
concerned, which is raised in the video.
The extra work is extremely effective to enhance students and
teachers communication skills because they get benefit from the
experience the new culture. The extra works from teachers and
students out the school to get connected with others online from
other places. Thus, will improve their knowledge and learn new
concepts of learning and new thoughts.
The flat classroom has a positive effect in long term because
collaborative among students and teachers from different
culture enrich education process. Teachers can exchange their
experiences and methods of teaching with other teachers which

Students will learn digital citizenship through participating in
school’s online web site. School should create training program
to educate students how they use technology based on ISTE
standers. In addition, school should provide students with flat
classroom project to let them experience it.
School district should provide teachers with the benefit of
online learning and using web 2.0. School should make meeting
to exchange teachers' experience of using online learning. It is
important to provide teachers with the resource of how to utilize
and integrate technology in classroom.
