1. Some tips for “how to do a presentation”
1- The first slide is the title of the presentation, and under the title, the names of the
group must be written in alphabetical order.
2- Each slide should have a title. If the topic takes more than one slide, write the title
in every slide related to the same topic followed by (Cont’d)
3- Each slide SHOULD NOT EXCEED 5-6 bullets.
4- It is preferred to put most of the slides in diagrams.
For example
5- The FONT: Times New Roman, size: 28 40
6- Choose appropriate background and appropriate colors.
The same background and the same font color should be applied for all slides.
7- It is preferred that some of the titles to be in the form of questions, and the answer
will be in the form of bullets or graphs.
8- The presentation should contain images. (For illustration, do NOT add too many,
or useless images)
9- Use an easy language to express your content and also use easy grammar.
Do NOT use difficult words just to show that you understand the content well.
10- You should start the presentation by introducing yourself and greet your
audience. Also give quick brief or a general idea about the topic.
11- You must have control on time, taking into consideration:
o The time limit you have
o The number of slides you are presenting
o A space for discussion and receiving questions from the audience
2. 12- You are presenting for the audience, not for your professor or your judge,
And the audience has the right to interrupt and ask you, and you have to answer those
questions.
13- Make an eye-contact with the whole class, not only with the middle.
14- It is preferred to make some comparisons in the form of tables.
15- Don’t panic, be confident, and don’t show your nervousness.
16- You should end the presentation by asking if there are any questions to answer
then thank your audience for paying attention .
