1. BEAT THE AGE WITH TECHNOLOGY
Ageing is going to be a great crisis to human living, developed world started facing the heat and even
the developing countries are facing the issues of ageing with adding more numbers of the people living
longer. Today, approximately 10 percent of the world's population is over the age of 60; by 2050 this
proportion will have more than doubled. Moreover, the greatest rate of increase is amongst the "oldest
old," people aged 85 and over. While many older adults remain healthy and productive, overall this
segment of the population is subject to physical and cognitive impairment at higher rates than younger
people. This article surveys new technologies that incorporate artificial intelligence techniques to support
older adults and help them cope with the changes of aging, in particular with cognitive decline.
Cognition normally begins to decline with age, Although older adults are increasingly using technology,
a number of published papers indicate that they typically have more difficulty than younger adults’ in
learning to use and operate them. The successful adoption of technology is becoming increasingly
important for functional independence and the requirement to use new technologies is becoming
pervasive in the lives of adults both young and old..
However it is important to make our lives interesting, a matter of personal choice I think we can make it.
I was reading on Flip board an article published by The Telegraph, 50 is the new 42: technology is
making brains of middle-aged younger the increasing mental demands of technology is making older
people sharper than previous generations, after discovering that the brains of middle-aged people are
getting sharper and younger to keep up with the demands of modern technology. Life has become
cognitively more demanding, with increasing use of communication and information technology also by
older people, and people working longer in intellectually demanding jobs. At the same time, we are
seeing a decline in physical activity and rising levels of obesity.” Why are older adults reluctant to adopt
new technology, such as the Internet, given its potential to improve the quality of their lives?
In the last 15 years I tried to invest my life in with technology many saying that technology make you dull
and uncreative, Although experts have previously worried that technology was causing people to stop
thinking, in fact, it appears that the mental skills needed to operate increasingly complex gadgets are
making people smarter. People over age 50 are scoring increasingly better on tests of cognitive function
and researchers believe it is because of the increased mental stimulation of computers and mobile
phones. If I think how we can improve the mental talents by being on line on many matters The average
person now needs to remember 10 passwords a day to access work computers, open email, use
internet banking, pay online bills or log on to social networks.
Once inside programs, they are often confronted with a vast array of commands and options, leading to
increased decision making. I always lived to survive as I swimmer through privatized world for the last
40 years, no god fathers and many oppositions and criticisms I realized through many great
philosophies in particular Swami Vivekananda that we are the creators of our destiny, I always taken the
view of many positive thinkers who say the world is created by motivated people as Motivation makes us
start to move toward our goals, but it is our habits that determine if we reach them.” I realized that the
life today is linked with technology I wished to be one early takers of the new ideas in the advancing
world One should believe in investing in new habits, Habits are the way we think, feel and react to
different situations based on repetition of certain mental experiences. Old habits are very hard to break,
and new ones are even harder to form as the certain patterns we use to repeat are set in our neural
pathways in such a way that it is difficult and time-consuming to break and form new ones.
THE BEST TOOL TO OVER COME IGNORANCE IS READING - Reading is a strong mental
activity and it builds fundamental skills that one would need, it wards of diseases such as Alzheimer’s,
Parkinson’s, while building up your self-discipline as although everyone knows they should read most of
us have many distractions and taking out even 20 minutes a day can be difficult.
I just write to world and social networks to know what I am to the world than any personal gains or
