1. 1.8. Justification for the selection of the study group and study
area:
For the study of the problem, secondary schools of Nalbari town has been
selected.
For the selection of the study group the secondary school students have been
selected. It is because secondary education builds the base for higher education,
so it is the most important part of one’s life. Therefore there is need to analyze
the educational facilities available in the secondary schools.
For the selection of the study area, the secondary schools of Nalbari town has
been selected. Nalbari is known as the “Navadeep” 0f Assam. There are several
schools established in pre-independence era and has been playing a key role in
promoting quality education in the society. However, parents has diminished in
admitting their children in such schools. So a comparison on the educational
facilities of such schools with recently grown up as private schools has a serious
need.
