Bandwidth demands continue to increase at an alarming rate. WLAN technology must adapt to meet our future bandwidth needs. The 802.11 VHT (Very High Throughput) Study Group has formed in order to research the next step-function increase in unwired bandwidth. The proposed technology would include more antennaes, wider channels, more complex modulation, more streams, advanced coding and advanced parallel communications.
