As a Project Coordinator and Technical Expert, my duties focused in:
Supervising the implementation of activities stablished in the IDB-MIF project and of other
complementary projects led by ARM.
Articulating actions and strategies for the achievement of 4 main project components
seeking to strengthen local and regional capacities; foster the exchange and transfer of
good practices; support the access to ethical markets; and to develop and promote
knowledge management and communication tools.
Assuring coordinated work among network allies in different countries.
Leading a Monitoring and Evaluation process.
Supporting budget allocation, accountability, contracting and acquisition processes
according to the guidelines provided by the IADB-MIF
Analyzing and consolidating reports according to ARM’s needs as well as to the IDB-MIF
requirements.
Identifying, integrating and systematizing regional experiences, risks, lessons learned and
results.
Developing tools and methodologies that support adequate implementation processes that
foster sustainable development principles considering a human rights based approach,
gender mainstreaming, and environmental justice.
Identifying and reporting risks to the project unit and to the diverse key partners and
stakeholders in Colombia, Peru and Bolivia.
Organizing meetings with the national multi-stakeholder’s committees in Colombia, Peru
and Bolivia in order to: integrate their recommendations and jointly plan project phases

seek south-south experience exchange and local key stakeholder’s support; strengthen
regional knowledge management tools; and report and transfer the diverse experiences

As a Focal Point my duties included those of a project manager as well as those of a technical
consultant. The program was funded by the Spanish MDG Fund and integrated 7 UN agencies that
focused their work in the most vulnerable populations in Mexico located in Chiapas, Veracruz and
Tabasco. Throughout the program implementation phase I organize and led over 30 local meetings
and/or workshops.
