2. UPDATE Statement
The UPDATE statement is used to modify the existing
records in a table.
Update command perform two types task
1. Update All rows data
2. Update selected row data

3. UPDATE Statement
Update All rows
“In this method , update modify all rows in the table.”
Syntax Example
UPDATE table_name
SET column1 = value1
;
UPDATE STUDENT
SET T_MARKS = T_MARKS+ 15;

4. UPDATE Statement
Update selected rows
“In this method , update modify all rows in the table.”
Syntax Example
UPDATE table_name
SET column1 = value1
WHERE condition;
UPDATE STUDENT
SET T_MARKS = T_MARKS+ 15;
WHERE T_MARKS < 350;
