‘Organization Information System on Mobile Device’ using J2ME and J2SE with MS Acess as a
back end and Tomcat Server used as a Web Server.
Project Title: Organization Information System on Mobile Device.
Duration: 7 months from 15th August 2007 to 15th March 2008.
Purpose: This project is being done as part of course curriculum in Final Year of engineering.
Programming Language Used: J2ME, Java Servlets.
Tools: Apache Tomcat v 4 as Web Server, MS Access as Back End.
Project Description: This system is a centralized system that provides a flexible interface on
mobile device through which a user can access all the relevant information of an organization. In
this system all user requests are sent on the Tomcat Server which then communicates with the
database using Java Servlets.
