Academic Projects
1. Checker Library for PCIe 3.0:
Role: Analyzing the specifications and building the test cases for the library
I am currently working on this project, for PCIe checker compatible with all the versions.
The major part of this project is to monitor all the transaction that happen between the PCIe
devices during the process of Link Training between PCIe devices. Report how training
happened, are there any errors during the current communication or is there any need of
Retraining of the Link etc..
2. APB bridge and Peripherals:
Role: Development of IP’s for APB Bridge and peripherals and verifying using UVM
APB Bridge is block which synchronizes the communication between high speed AHB
devices and low speed peripherals like UART, SPI, RTC, GPIO, Watch dog timer etc…
The function of the APB Bridge is to select the slaves based on the valid address from the
AHB masters and send the necessary control signals for both low speed peripherals and
high speed peripherals.

3. Data Read/Write Master:
Role: Designing a Driver using UVM
The Data Read/Write Master is a simple device which performs read or write operations
based on the Command sent which could any one of following 4read,4write,16read and
16write. Once the command is sent it will reply with ACK or NACK based on which the data
will be transferred to the master. The Driver sends these commands randomly and checks for
the response from the DUT if the response is ACK it transfers the data else it will retry until it
gets response as ACK.
