2. Professional Experience
March ’09 to October ‘09
• Worked as a Quality Analyst in HOV services (formerly Lason) in a project named e-book plus
for the customer Pearson publications .
• Project deals with conversion of e-books from the Portable Document Format (PDF) to GUI
enabled Adobe’s Flash format. These are consist of media and hotspot links. These makes
end-user to read the books in a comfortable manner.
• My work is to analysis and produce media links and to test whether the pages are free from
the error or not.
• With the above testing , I have also created Error Report for the ebooks.
University Project Details
January ’08 to March ‘08
Project Title : Robotic Control through speech
Description : The user speaks a command and the corresponding predefined controlling action will
be carried out. The recognized speech is used to control the arm movement with different direction
(right ,left) , different heights (up and down) and perform the arm function (pick and place the
specified object) with the help of stepper and dc motors .
The Speech Recognition can be classified into two phases.
1)Training Phase.
2)Testing Phase.
• In Training phase registered speaker has to provide samples of their speech .
• In testing phase, the input speech is matched with stored references models
and the decision is made on the basis of Mel Frequency Cepstrum Coefficients according to the
predefined command stored in the processor.
