Brown & Joseph, Ltd. announced that it has recently completed its regular examination in conformity
with Statement on Standards for Attestation Engagements (SSAE) No.16, in an ongoing third party audit
process now spanning three consecutive years in a row
Completion of the SSAE 16 examination (reporting on controls at a service organization) indicates that
Brown & Joseph processes, procedures and controls have been formally evaluated and tested by an
independent accounting and auditing firm.
The audit included the company's controls related to: Physical Security, Computer Operations and
Availability, Information Security, Application Development Maintenance and Documentation, Data
Communication, Client Setup and Maintenance, Transaction Processing and Transaction Reporting.
Brown & Joseph, Ltd. is the nation’s only fully licensed, SSAE 16 certified, commercial revenue cycle
and accounts receivable management solutions provider in the country that is also affirmed by A.M. Best
with the distinction of “Expert Service Provider”. This is due to their presence in the Insurance Industry.
On a similar note; the company’s published U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) contract
