7. Mireille Focquet, Founding Partner and Managing Director
Mireille holds a Bachelor Degree in Logistics Management from the Faculty of Applied Business of the Ghent
University College (Gent, Belgium) and a CPC certificate for International Road Transport Manager from the
Belgian Institute of Road Transport and Logistics (Brussels, Belgium). She completed her academic training with
different courses in International Business, Management, Project Management and Supply Chain Management.
ABOUT DERSAM INTERNATIONAL
Fluent in English, French, Dutch, Spanish and German, Mireille has 20 years of professional experience in various
management positions in Sales, Customer Services and Business Development across various industrial sectors. She
started her career in Belgium in logistics and telecommunications. She continued her career in

telecommunications in Spain for several years. Since her arrival in Canada, Mireille has been holding commercial
management positions in the renewable energy sector for the past 7 years.
Dr. Daniel Bourgoin, Founding Partner and Director of Science and Technology
Daniel holds a B.Sc. Degree in Physics from the Université Laval (Quebec, Qc, Canada), a M.Sc and a Ph.D
degree in sciences of Energy and Materials from the INRS-EMT (Montreal, Qc, Canada) as well as a M.Sc. Degree
in Engineering Management from the Université de Sherbrooke (Sherbrooke,Qc, Canada). He completed his
academic training with various courses in Management, Nanotechnologies, Semiconductors and Project
Management.
Daniel combined his studies with various scientific research projects, conferences and publications in North-
America and Europe.
For the past 11 years, Daniel has been occupying various management positions in technological manufacturing
(semiconductors and nanotechnologies). He is also teaching project management to B.Sc. And M.Sc. Students at
the faculty of engineering of the Université de Sherbrooke.
