Build your own team and take control of your own market. You will be given responsibility for hiring and performance of
your team and growing your chosen sector.
ONWARDS AND UPWARDS
From here you can choose whether to continue as a high-billing consultant with more flexibility and autonomy or you
could continue into business management working more strategically with the management team and progressing
upwards to director level - the world is your oyster!
SENIOR CONSULTANT
You will continue to deliver to existing clients while taking on further responsibilities for business development, allowing
you to start building your own niche within the business.
CONSULTANT
You will now take full responsibility for the recruitment process sourcing candidates for our existing clients and ensuring the
process runs smoothly for both clients and candidates.

10. JAMES GALLOWAY+
DIRECTOR / OWNER
TEAM PROFILES
James’ career in recruitment started in 1996, so he has a wealth of
experience in the industry. He is responsible for the overall
performance of the company across all specialist divisions and
for defining and implementing strategy and growth plans.
Working with the management team, a primary objective is to
ensure delivery to clients and candidates is kept to the same high
standard that helped establish IC Resources as the leading name
within the industry. He builds on relationships created since the
inception of the company and ensures newer partnerships are built on
foundations of trust and honesty.
Outside the office he can be found regularly stuck on the M25
commuting between work and his new home by the beach in
Broadstairs. Weekends are spent with the family, walking their dog,
going for bike rides and taking his sons go karting.
James is particularly passionate about supporting the burgeoning
micro pub scene in the Broadstairs area. It can be no coincidence that
since moving to the area there’s been an explosion
of profitable watering holes up and down the Kent coast.
11. JAMES CUNNINGHAM+
BUSINESS MANAGER, COMMERCIAL DIVISION
After achieving his BSc (hons) Chemistry at Aberdeen University, James
began work at the heart of the semiconductor industry as a process
engineer for Mitel who became Zarlink, then X-FAB UK Ltd (nowadays
Plessey). Prior to leaving James had become a project manager with
responsibility internally for all new customer prototypes. Establishing
customer relationships, handling timescale negotiations and an
understanding of the peculiarities of different industry verticals have
equipped him with a true understanding of the challenges faced by both
his clients and candidates.
Since joining in 2008 James is now establishing a team responsible for
hiring commercial professionals specifically within the semiconductor
and electronics component community across Europe where he
supports the majority of OEM’s and distribution companies in his
industry.
In his spare time James is usually found dressed in rubber chasing fish
about in a river or, if especially lucky, he can ditch the waders and chase
after more exotic species in Florida or the Caribbean. But to balance the
programme, and equip him with a decent level of ‘pub-chat’, he’s a true
fan of Bath and England rugby where he has proven a direct correlation
between Guinness consumption and his knowledge of the game.
12. GEORGINA BARKER+
SENIOR CONSULTANT
After graduating from the University of Brighton in 2012,
where she studied business management and
marketing, Georgina began her career with IC
Resources. Starting out as a resourcer, she learnt the
ropes from her ex-industry colleague consultants and
has now built up a solid understanding of the software
market.
Earlier this year she expanded her business area and
now looks after the wireless software recruitment for IC
Resources as well. She prides herself on her ethical
beliefs, business acumen and approachable nature.
In her spare time she enjoys going to the seaside (her
favourite places by far are Cornwall and Brighton),
traveling around Europe and meeting other motorbike
enthusiasts at events around England.
13. DANIELLE JACKSON+
CONSULTANT
Danielle previously worked her way up the equine
ladder, becoming a yard manager for a prestigious
event yard in Ascot. She took her organisational
skills and determination and decided to get out of
the saddle and back at the office desk. She made
the transition to recruitment consultant after
gaining some temporary experience at a friend’s
market research recruitment company.
She is now enjoying the challenge of growing the
software test market and supporting some of IC
Resources’ most important customers.
