Reflection: What do you like about this music? Why?
I like the song’s lyrics as it is funny but still makes sense.
What is the mood, does it change?
The mood sort of reminds me of the mood I feel when I listen to jazz. It would
seem like a song you play in bars, rather than night clubs and dancing clubs and
what not.
Comment on the musical elements (pitch, timbre, dynamics, tempo, rhythm,
texture, structure):
Pitch: The singers have different voices, some low, and some middle.
Timbre: The timbre is quite unnoticeable, at least for me.
Dynamics: The song is not loud or soft.
Tempo: The song is not slow or fast, and remains the same throughout the
whole song.
Rhythm: The song has a weird, and somehow, hard to find rhythm.
Texture: The song is quite thin.
Structure: The song starts out with several singers introducing themselves, and
asking each other if they are ready. The lyrics then state that relationships look
better than they are on the start, and the chorus states that women are
poison, and that “one wrong move, and you’re dead.”
